CoolCo

The client

CoolCo is a pioneer of liquefied natural gas (LNG), a key transition fuel towards a more sustainable future. The company’s history goes back more than 50 years and its fleet of modern ships transport LNG across the globe with a strong commitment to safety, quality and sustainability. A recent change of company ownership and name have resulted in an updated vision and values which focus on care, collaboration and professionalism.

The brief

CoolCo asked Ingenious to develop an entire brand guide to be rolled out across all physical outlets of the company and a new website, in order to communicate the updated vision and values to all shore and sea-based personnel as well as external stakeholders.

The results

Ingenious has collaborated closely with CoolCo to refine and update their company logo to make it more usable across all platforms. We have also assisted in creating a sophisticated new brand guide that has been rolled out across all areas of the company worldwide. In addition, we designed two Environmental, Social and Governance reports, the second of which was completely revamped following our newly created brand guidelines. It features a fresh new colour palette to compliment the company’s key colours of light and dark blue, clear and engaging infographics to convey information about the company’s performance in key focus areas and a new landscape format to make the most of some stunning imagery.

As part of the overall branding exercise, we designed a stylish aluminium sign which is now displayed in CoolCo’s offices globally and in meeting areas on board their ships. We also created a banner which appeared on the front of the New York Stock Exchange building on the day CoolCo celebrated their new listing, as well as a large quantity of bespoke CoolCo caps which are being distributed to employees across the globe.

We are currently in the process of updating and redesigning the CoolCo website, once again following the brand guidelines we created for them.
