The client
The Ramblers is Britain’s biggest and most vibrant walking community. Established in 1935, the charity is committed to campaigning to keep the countryside open to all, protecting and improving the places we love to wander, providing routes and leading walks so everyone can enjoy the simple pleasures of walking. Also a membership organisation, Ramblers has around 100,000 members as well as a network of volunteers.
The brief
Ingenious has worked with Ramblers on various projects over the years. We recently produced their Walking Guide For All Seasons, a digital incentive download. Having previously offered downloadable digital guides as free incentives linked to seasonal acquisition campaigns, Ramblers this time required an evergreen, all-season offer, highlighting the benefits of year-round walking.
It needed to appeal to the target audience by illustrating a vibrant walking community, providing walking routes and tips, kit lists and recipes to encourage people to get out walking whatever the weather or season and ultimately to give membership a go. Design also needed to be in accordance with Ramblers brand guidelines.
Ingenious have been supporting the Ramblers for a number of years now. Always there when we need them, always fabulous - even on those 11th hour projects when we don’t know quite what we need, but we know we needed it yesterday. A great agency that always takes care of us.

The final result is a visually appealing, engaging, informative and light-hearted guide with attractive imagery, which also adheres to Ramblers brand guidelines. Designed to inspire more people to join Ramblers and showcase the many membership benefits of this valuable organisation.
