Experts in internal branding

Ingenious have loved working on various exciting internal branding projects for our client CoolCo who provide safe and reliable transportation solutions for liquefied natural gas (LNG), with LNG Carriers and Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRUs) around the world.

We initially designed a stylish 4m-long glass plaque highlighting company values which now resides in the canteen of CoolCo’s Oslo office and incorporates photos taken by staff members.

We also created some eye-catching wall art for their huge ocean-going vessels which has been installed when they dock for scheduled maintenance. Intended to inspire and engage staff as well as enhancing their surroundings when on-board ship, we designed wallpapers and artworks for crew and officers’ mess halls, conference room, admin office, gym and connecting corridors. Graphics using CoolCo’s brand colours and insignia create different textures which work alongside attractive illustrations and journey lines, together with inspirational quotes and keywords. Many quotes are taken from the company’s vision and values, while keywords come from a word cloud on the company website where employees describe everything they love about working for CoolCo. Illustrations reflect the part of the ship in which they appear with a general nautical theme running through the corridors.

Ingenious also designed a series of stunning art canvasses to be hung in various rooms. They use photographs depicting everyday life on-board ship, treated in different ways - some as artistic montages and others redrawn as illustrations. Colours are all derived from the official brand colour palette, but different tones are created using layering techniques. During the scheduled maintenance, the ships were completely repainted using colours and logos from the brand guide we have been building with CoolCo, and a number of our graphics are now used as Teams backdrops.

We are truly proud of the results and hope staff and crew are enjoying their new surroundings.
