Ingenious was proud to support Sussex Police with design work for their Hotspot Policing campaign, a proactive approach to policing involving increased patrols in targeted areas to tackle anti-social behaviour and enhance community safety. 

We created a bold new logo and brand for the campaign to give it a high level of visibility within the local community. The logo incorporates some clever graphic elements - look closely and you will see a person and magnifying glass within a location pin-shaped icon, all in a colourway that mirrors indicators on a thermal imaging camera.
 
Hotspot Policing has been rolled out across the county with a series of community hubs and the Sussex Police community van, together with banners and adshels on bus shelters providing key stats on progress - all of which incorporate the branding we created for the campaign. 
 
In another phase of the campaign, Ingenious further developed the HotSpot branding for an initiative specifically aimed at increasing engagement with a younger audience. Retaining the HotSpot logo, our flexible design was adapted for a car wrap and flyers incorporating edgy, fun, digital elements designed to appeal to a youthful audience. 
 
The HotSpot Policing approach has seen crime and anti-social behaviour fall in hotspot areas.
